Block Kids
The Block Kids program introduces children in grades 1-6 to the Construction industry, and promotes an interest in future constuction related careers. The Block Kids program is a national building competition, which is sponsored by NAWIC.
Local winners advance to a regional level, and one semi-finalist from each region is then moved on to the national competition.
The 2012 competion will be held on February 25, 2012 at Construction Tech Academy on the Kearny High School Campus, 7651 Wellington St., San Diego, CA 92111.
Participation is limited to the first 40 applicants.
