Each year, the chapter participates in a variety of events, including educational seminars and conferences, Women in Construction Week, Block Kids (construction awareness program for children in grades 1st thru 6th), CAD/Drafting Contest (high school student activity), M.A.G.I.C. (a week long program designed to mentor high school girls planning to enter the construction industry), College Scholarships, Anniversary Night, Joint Meetings with other San Diego Professional Organizations and collecting needed items for local charities such as Rachel's Women's Center.

We are an Education based Association that offers further education for women through the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF), Lorman University and our meetings and job walks, which are a great opportunity to gain construction knowledge and to network with other women in the construction industry. Guests are ALWAYS welcome!! Visit our Meetings and Events page for more information.
